I tried on SOOO many dresses for my summer 2009 NYC wedding (at the Explorer's club). I wanted a light, easy, beautiful, original, pretty, comfortable dress. I fell in love with this one. It could be worn at a very formal venue (as mine was), but also at a beach wedding (as we had considered when I purchased it). It made me feel so special and wonderful. The dress is atypical in that it is cotton and silk. So it's LIGHT. I wore it all night, and never felt uncomfortable or stiff or like I couldn't move. I have saved this dress since my wedding because I hoped I'd hand it down to a daughter. Well, I now have 2 sons. So I am ready to pass it along to someone who hopefully will love it as much as I did!
