Claire Pettibone Mystere Vintage unclassified dresses

Once I was engaged, my #1 priority was finding THE dress. I had compiled a binder full of tear sheets with simple, understated, yet elegant, dresses. This binder came with me everywhere, to every dress boutique in the area but all I found were strapless, satin dresses with rouching. However, upon entering Mariee, I knew that I was not only in the right hands, but that maybe my dream dress wasn't what I thought it would be. Claire Pettibone's gowns definitely had the elegance I wanted, yet my love for all of the details was what really drew me to her line and particularly the Mystere gown. There was one major change I wanted and it was all up to Claire whether they would accommodate the request - instead of the platinum thread, I wanted ivory to bring the sparkle down a level as I felt the beading and lace was perfect for my taste. The next day, I was told that she did say that this modification was possible and I ended up with a one-of-a-kind Claire Pettibone Mystere!
