This gown was custom designed for me because my aunt was a pattern maker for Richard Glasgow at the time, and it is the original pattern model from which other gowns were modeled after. Mr. Glasgow personally made recommendations and adjustments during all fittings at his NYC HQ showroom and the gown is the end result of his unique vision. 3 layers of underskirt, crinoline as the base and 2 layers of tulle, create the elegant princess ball gown look to the dress. The bodice is intricately beaded brocade with schliffi lace and swarovski crystals. Silk covered buttons with silk loop enclosures adorn the back of the bodice which starts just below the shoulder blades. The skirt is floor length with a brush train so photo sessions and dancing were a breeze. I am 5'7", 128 lbs and wore 2" heels at the time.
