I bought this dress for my fall wedding at Kleinflds in New York. Its the perfect dress if you are looking for something elegant and classic but also modern with a little bit of fun/playful character. Its made entirely of silk organza that is folded and layered across the bodice, then down the skirt; the layers lie flat at the front of the dress but criss/cross into strips of flowing silk at the back. iIts a really unique design and absolutely gorgeous on. I had SO many comments on the dress; I know this is common, but even I was surprised. I had never seen anything quite like it. its light as a feather and is 100% silk so it keeps you warm, but its weightless. it has some light corseting on the inside of the bodice to support the bust through the waist but it is quite comfortable and feels incredibly well made (Victoria Kyriakides trademark).
The strips of silk can be tied up unto a bow at the back for dancing, otherwise the train is about 3'. See photos and I can send some more if you like. its a lovely off white pearly color without being Ivory.
It can be worn with or without the black velvet sash; but I'm happy to include it in the price.
This dress has been worn only once with no damage at all; it looks brand new, it has not been sweated in. There are no stains. I am 5'6" and was wearing a 2.5" wedge heel; its hemmed to floor length of that height but could be taken up.
