A gorgeous Rivini dress with exquisite tailoring, this true mermaid is made from sumptuous silk mikado fabric with the most beautiful unique sweetheart neck that has a sheer soft overlay. The waistline is adorned with a thin delicate silver sparkling beadwork sewn in place that dips slightly at the back of the dress. Fully lined and with expertly tailored bustier built in, the dress closes with a strong hidden zip.
I purchased this dress (ordered new) from a designer bridal boutique in Houston. The dress is a size 8. I normally wear a 4-6.
I wore this for my May 2013 wedding in Austin- a rustic organic mansion setting. The dress is light and fresh enough for a spring/summer wedding in a garden setting but also has enough glamour and sophisticatioin for a ballroom wedding.
I have rarely seen a dress of a similar style/sillhouette and believe this is a true classic timeless beauty. I think it's a shame to see it age in my closet so am selling it to allow it another party on another beautiful bride.
